Use the categories below to find answers about getting started, treatment options, safety, recovery, payment, and scheduling.
Getting Started
Start here if you are new to our practice or considering a consultation.
A comprehensive consultation includes a thorough medical history review, an examination of the areas you want to address, and a detailed discussion of your treatment options. Dr. Atagi or one of our experienced providers will explain what each procedure involves and provide realistic expectations about results, recovery time, and next steps. Most consultations last 60 to 90 minutes and include time for all your questions.
The right treatment depends on your goals, anatomy, timeline, health history, and the degree of change you want to achieve. During your consultation, our team will help you compare surgical and non-surgical options so you can choose an approach that feels aligned with your goals.
Candidacy depends on factors such as your overall health, skin quality, anatomy, expectations, and the specific concern being treated. Dr. Atagi or one of our experienced providers will evaluate these factors during your consultation and recommend the safest, most effective plan for your needs.
Yes. Many patients come in with several areas they would like to address. Our team can help you prioritize your options and create a comprehensive treatment plan that may include surgical procedures, non-surgical treatments, skincare, or wellness support.
About the Practice
Learn more about Atagi Plastic Surgery & Skin Aesthetics and our approach to patient care.
Dr. Tanya A. Atagi is one of the few female board-certified plastic surgeons in the Denver area. She brings more than 20 years of experience, Stanford Medical School training, and fellowship training in aesthetics to her Lone Tree practice.
Our practice offers comprehensive care from surgical procedures to non-invasive aesthetic treatments under physician oversight. We focus on personalized treatment plans, natural-looking results, and care that enhances your unique features rather than changing who you are.
Atagi Plastic Surgery & Skin Aesthetics is located in Lone Tree, Colorado. Our practice serves patients throughout Douglas County, the Denver metro area, and nearby communities including Castle Pines, Castle Rock, Parker, and Highlands Ranch.
Depending on your goals, you may meet with Dr. Tanya Atagi, our nurse practitioner, registered nurses, licensed aestheticians, patient coordinator, or other members of our care team. Surgical consultations are held directly with Dr. Atagi.
Surgical Procedures
These questions are for patients considering plastic surgery or surgical consultations.
Our surgical services include breast procedures, body contouring, facial rejuvenation, and other aesthetic procedures. Dr. Atagi creates personalized surgical plans based on each patient’s anatomy, goals, and desired outcome.
Surgical procedures are performed at Rose Medical Center or Smith Medical Center, depending on the procedure and patient needs. Our team will review the surgical location, preparation instructions, and recovery expectations during your consultation.
Yes. In some cases, combining procedures can help patients achieve more comprehensive results while minimizing overall downtime. Dr. Atagi will determine whether a combined approach is safe and appropriate based on your health, goals, and procedure plan.
The longevity of surgical results depends on the procedure, your anatomy, lifestyle, aging process, and post-operative care. Surgical procedures are designed to provide long-lasting improvement, but natural aging will continue over time.
Non-Surgical Treatments
These questions are for patients interested in injectables, lasers, skincare, body contouring, and other non-surgical options.
Our aesthetic team offers advanced laser treatments, injectables, skincare services, body contouring treatments, and other non-surgical options designed to improve skin quality, facial balance, and overall rejuvenation with little to no downtime.
Non-surgical treatments can offer subtle improvements with minimal downtime, while surgical procedures typically create more dramatic and long-lasting changes. The best option depends on your goals, timeline, anatomy, and the degree of correction needed.
Yes. Non-surgical treatments can often complement surgical results by improving skin quality, supporting recovery, or maintaining long-term outcomes. Our team may recommend a combination of treatments as part of a personalized plan.
Maintenance depends on the treatment type, your goals, and how your body responds. Injectables, lasers, skincare, and body treatments each have different timelines, which your provider will review during your consultation.
